Remembrance Day Service 13th November
On Sunday 13th November 2011, there will be numerous Services of Remembrance at War Memorials throughout the London Borough of Sutton. Sutton War Memorial,
Manor Park, Sutton and St Nicholas Church, Robin Hood Lane, Sutton will be the scene for this year's Civic Ceremony attended by the Mayor and Mayoress, Councillors, Council Officers and representatives from the various services, youth groups and the public in general.
The Royal British Legion provides welfare to the whole Armed Forces family – serving, ex-Service and their dependants. It campaigns on a range of issues affecting Service people, is the custodian of Remembrance, and runs the annual Poppy Appeal.
