A217 Belmont Rise

Kerbstone Arundel Road & A217 Belmont Rise

Part of the kerb stone on the junction of Arundel Road and the A217 Belmont Rise has come adrift.  After pushing the stone back from the road, Councillor Pritchard reported this to TfL (transport for London) who are responsible for this red route road for some urgent attention. Transport for London (TfL), has appointed EnterpriseMouchel, to carry out night time carriageway improvement works on A217 Belmont Rise. At this evening’s Local Area Committee, it was agreed to fund Christmas lights in Cheam Village.  Whilst traders purchased lights some years ago, the cost of installing and removing, at around £2,000 will be funded from Public Realm monies.
